A professional and warm welcome, a €95 menu made with very good products, well prepared, well presented, well served, but above all delicious with very harmoniously blended flavors, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! Everything was perfect and tasteful: creative cuisine that showcases our beautiful Breton produce, masterful cooking techniques, and a surprising and delightful combination of flavors with every bite (the use of flowers, herbs, and seaweed adds a truly delicate and exquisite touch). The tableware is both elegant and surprising, carefully chosen to highlight each dish. Finally, the wine pairing was particularly successful. The service, both professional and friendly, ensured we had a wonderful experience. We also appreciated the modern and functional rooms. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work and pursuit of perfection; they have truly succeeded.

A huge thank you for this exceptional experience. A location facing the sea is simply divine; from the welcome to dessert, the variety of dishes is a wonderful journey for the senses, perfectly complemented by excellent wines. The staff is helpful and discreet. We had a delightful time. Thank you.

Gourmet restaurant. We had a wonderful meal and discovered some new and beautifully combined flavors. The pigeon dish was excellent, but I wasn't as keen on the desserts; the rum baba was definitely soaked in rum. The restaurant's decor and ambiance are chic, the tableware is superb, and the view of the harbor is a major plus. However, it would have been nice to have our coats taken upon arrival, or at least a coat rack available. It's an experience to be savored; the waitresses meticulously explain each dish and are very knowledgeable about the origin of the ingredients (mostly local). They also explain how to best enjoy the different dishes to fully appreciate the blend of flavors.

I had the pleasure of dining at Avelvor, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The cuisine is of remarkable quality, each dish blending creativity, elegance, and a perfect balance of flavors. Fresh ingredients are elevated with rare finesse, and the presentation is worthy of a work of art. Chef Camille clearly knows how to work with and showcase local and seasonal produce; I was particularly impressed by the poached oyster, which, from the very first bite, awakens the taste buds like never before! The desserts are also remarkably prepared by the recently awarded pastry chef, Agathe, and it's easy to see why upon discovering her exceptional version of rum baba. The service also deserves high praise: attentive, warm, and perfectly orchestrated without ever being intrusive. As for the setting, it adds a magical dimension to the meal, with a view of the harbor and its boats. A true gastronomic journey that fully justifies its Michelin star. A must-visit for lovers of fine cuisine and special occasions.

Two years later, a step above in inventiveness (Japanese/Breton flavors) and technique (fish cooking, sauce base, nage, dessert) – pure bliss! Bravo! An exceptional evening. Ah, the sweetbreads! Ah, the John Dory! Ah, the Mexican tomato... everything was perfect, served on magnificent tableware and by truly professional service. Bravo. We'll be back.

An extraordinary experience in a magnificent setting. A true culinary journey with a genuine Breton sensibility. A beautiful synthesis of local flavors; you'd think you were on a Breton dune from the very first bite. The rest of the menu was also very tasteful, and the service was impeccable. It's well worth it.

What an incredible experience! We came as a group of four friends, and with some pretty unusual dietary requirements: gluten, lactose, and iodine allergies... quite a challenge! But the Avel Vor team handled it masterfully. At the heart of all these thoughtful touches that make for an exceptional experience is the cuisine. The journey begins with fragrant and indulgent amuse-bouches, like the buttermilk with grilled andouille sausage and buckwheat, or the expertly prepared oyster that immediately captivates you and welcomes you to Brittany! The superb ravioli, perfectly balanced, indulgent, and comforting, showcase the chef's skill in elevating simple ingredients, like chestnuts, to culinary heights. The seafood dishes are incredibly refined and of exceptional quality. Whether it's the perfectly cooked shellfish with their exquisite texture or the simply exceptional scallops, the chef displays impressive mastery in balancing flavors and creating a truly indulgent experience (the hollandaise sauce is incredible!), showcasing top-quality ingredients. The plates are beautiful, clear, and appetizing, and the staff leaves completely clean! The sweetbreads are meltingly tender, encased in a wonderfully crisp crust and accompanied by a complex jus infused with parsley root. The pairing with coffee, which might seem a little unusual on paper, was a revelation and a pure delight. And what about the desserts! A citrus soufflé that takes you back to childhood and a reimagined version of the famous "pear and chocolate" that the pastry chef elevates to new heights, offering a delicate, indulgent, and perfectly balanced creation. The service was impeccable: friendly, precise, and fair, maintaining just the right distance—the kind that puts you at ease and makes you feel like you're in your element. In short, we all had a wonderful time, leaving with smiles on our faces and our heads full of memories. That's the beauty of cuisine: it evokes unparalleled emotions when everything is so expertly executed. Thank you.

A truly wonderful discovery! The setting is ideal, overlooking the ocean, with a cozy atmosphere, a fireplace, and a very warm welcome. The cuisine is incredible, flavorful, and surprising. The chef was able to accommodate the allergies and dietary restrictions of our table (including a guest who is gluten- and lactose-free… not easy!). The final surprise was the exceptional desserts! The owner is both in the dining room and in the kitchen, baking. The Grand Marnier soufflé is divine. Special mention goes to the sweetbreads paired with an unexpected flavor (coffee). In short, a truly memorable culinary experience. We will be back. Thank you to the young chefs!

A very, very big disappointment with this restaurant, and even more so with the Michelin Guide, which has always been a benchmark but in which I no longer have any confidence whatsoever. Neither the food nor the service deserved its star, nor any other distinction. I challenge a Michelin inspector to award a star after our experience. The welcome was okay, with very light background music that disappeared after 3 minutes and never returned. We then found ourselves in a large, cold room, whispering and trying to ignore the conversations around us that were becoming increasingly loud. Our order was taken, and they forgot about the drinks we ordered several times. They finally brought them, poured us a small glass, put the bottle aside, and, like the music, never saw it again. I had to get up to pour myself several times. In that case, they should have left the bottle on the table. I wouldn't have said anything... The amuse-bouche was quite good. The starter arrived, and it was quite good: a slice of grilled andouille sausage (which I don't usually like) on a rather simplistic dairy base. Then came the first course. It wasn't bad, but not great either. The ravioli pasta was very thick, which was a bit unpleasant and spoiled the whole thing—an unconventional combination. The shellfish dish, however, was a disaster. The shellfish were rubbery and sandy, with no seasoning other than a thin layer of olive oil and a hollandaise sauce that lacked richness. The vegetables were undercooked (firm is normal, but this was just undercooked) and still unseasoned. I left half of it; I've never had to do that at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The dessert was okay, but nothing to redeem the whole experience. The wine was good and reasonably priced by the glass. I frequently dine at Michelin-starred restaurants, and this was the worst experience I've ever had. The cuisine wasn't executed as well as it should be, and the service was subpar. At the end, we mentioned that we had a bad experience, but there was no gesture of goodwill. They weren't obligated to offer anything, but providing a bottle of water (which had disappeared at the beginning of the meal), for example, which costs them absolutely nothing, would have been appreciated. Judging by other reviews, I hope it was just an off night or a poorly executed menu. But when you have a Michelin star, you have to maintain a high standard every single day. The day before, we were at a Bib Gourmand restaurant in the area, which was far superior. In conclusion, I absolutely do not recommend this place. In my experience, it's paying for not enjoying yourself for a single second.
