Comptoir Insulaire Groix et Nature Lorient

We had a great meal at this restaurant during our visit to Lorient. I ordered the ribs and thoroughly enjoyed them. My companions ordered the fish burger and they also loved it. I agree with some of the other comments about the staff not always being friendly. Aside from that, we had a pleasant time.

What a magnificent place, so inspiring! It's beautiful, and the staff are very friendly. The decor is gorgeous. I absolutely love it; it's the kind of place we wish we had many more of.

Everything was excellent. It's honest, unpretentious cuisine, full of flavor and made with incredibly fresh ingredients! The grouper fillet, the dish of the day, was very tasty with its sweet potato purée. The same goes for the daily appetizer of carrot, honey, and Bleu d'Auvergne spread. Everything else was also very well executed, with bold combinations that worked wonderfully. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic. Local, fresh produce, everything is homemade, you can taste the difference on the plate and especially in the flavor. They avoid waste; for the children's menu, it was fish, a "small" piece was served, and they told me that if my son wanted more, they would serve him another (the small piece was enough). A delicious vegetarian option. I highly recommend it!
