I had lunch today at this rather popular restaurant in Hennebont. Located in the center of Hennebont, opposite the basilica, it's easy to find. A flight of steps leads to the (small) dining room (not wheelchair accessible). The atmosphere was pleasant at first glance. The set menu is €19 for a starter/main course or main course/dessert. The portions were quite generous and the food rather refined. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to expectations, which somewhat spoiled our experience. We arrived at 12:45 pm, and dessert wasn't served until 2 pm after we asked for it. The waitress clearly wanted to be somewhere else and do something else. She was almost rude when we asked for dessert so she could go back to work. Miss, service is a profession: a smile and a genuine desire to please are minimum requirements to meet customer expectations. What a shame...
