La casa Nonna - Pizzéria / Restaurant / Grill

Set menu, but a menu was available on the table. One-hour wait to be served. Homemade pasta, but not really. I don't recommend it.

The restaurant was recently renovated, with a rather nice decor. However, the organization unfortunately left much to be desired. Despite a half-empty dining room and several staff members, the wait was very long at every stage. The staff seemed unprepared: the waitress had to reread the menu to take our order, and conversations between colleagues were conducted aloud in front of customers, giving the impression of a great deal of improvisation. The cocktails were a real disappointment. The Spritz, despite being €8, didn't resemble a Spritz at all. The server even admitted when the bill arrived that she had only just learned how to make it. The Prosecco was very average. The glasses of rosé meant to accompany the pizzas arrived at the same time as the aperitifs, demonstrating a lack of coordination. As for the food, the four-cheese pizza was decent. However, the vegetarian pizza was very disappointing: dry, sparsely topped, with roughly chopped vegetables, almost no tomato sauce, and a crumbly crust. At this price, we expect much better. We were also surprised by several details that gave an unprofessional impression: handwritten table numbers, order slips left in the middle of the table, pizza boxes given for only a quarter of a pizza left, and a very long checkout process. The staff was friendly, and we were offered two glasses of rosé as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated. However, the value for money is not there at the moment. It's a recently opened restaurant, which probably explains some of these difficulties. We hope the establishment will quickly find its footing, as there is still a lot of work to be done on the organization, service, and quality of the food. For now, we unfortunately cannot recommend it.

Clearly, it's complicated from the start: I called to make a reservation (which guarantees part of their service), and they refused because apparently they "will be fully booked because it's the medieval festival in Hennebont." Yes, but the medieval festival starts the next day... Clearly, they don't even know the town they work in. Good luck to you anyway; I'm not one to hold a grudge. I wanted to try your restaurant venture, but it's definitely not off to a good start.

Finally, real pizzas in Hennebont, cooked fresh to order with quality ingredients. I had three takeaway pizzas today, they were fantastic, see you soon!

Regulars at Del Castello, we discovered the brand new Casa Nonna tonight! While we noticed a few slow moments in the service (understandable for a busy first Saturday!), the pizzas were delicious and the staff very friendly! We'll gladly be back 😊

The pizzas are delicious, with a thin crust and generous toppings. The waitress is very kind and efficient. The owner is very nice, contrary to what some reviews have said. The coffee and hot chocolate are excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Excellent food and pizzas, which is why; We're sorry we can only give 4 stars. The only thing that lowers the rating is the atmosphere. The restaurant is extremely noisy, and the takeaway pizzas take precedence over the restaurant service. It's a shame because the food is very good, and the service is excellent too!

Takeaway order, unfriendly owner, pizzas not great in our opinion. Very thin crust and average quality ingredients. I wouldn't go back.
