Bar à Guidel Plages - Lorient - O'ROOF

We stopped by for lunch with our family and children and were very warmly welcomed by the waiter. The dishes were all delicious and made with fresh ingredients (salads, burgers, fries, pizza). We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful view. Despite that, a bottled Breizh Cola... And the Badoit water wasn't cold, which is a shame.

One evening during a World Cup match, we had reserved a table. We weren't disappointed by the service or the screen viewing. The food was fairly standard, but nothing to complain about. Thanks also to all the very friendly and efficient servers who took our orders!

Avoid at all costs! The daily special was paella. The rice wasn't cooked, there was no chicken, and the dish was cold after a 40-minute wait. I understand the manager's frustration, having lost his other restaurant in a fire, but come on now!

The food wasn't up to standard. The dish of the day (paella) was very, very disappointing.

Unfortunately, it burned down. I hope they reopen soon. Very friendly and excellent crepes.

So, for our first restaurant visit to our new holiday destination… avoid it! The real low-rent approach towards tourists… a spilled drink right at the start (it happens), drinks barely served with a sausage for an aperitif, the main courses arriving in quick succession (in less than 20 seconds), and a plain water glass to enjoy a Paix Dieu beer! Sacrilege! And when you ask for a beer glass (without demanding a Paix Dieu), they brush you off… bravo! This bar is a beer specialist… we clearly don't see eye to eye on the matter…

Meh, very mixed feelings. The welcome was great, it was good… except I got food poisoning that wrecked my stomach for a week.

Great atmosphere with the servers, fairly quick service and top-notch food 👌
